The Launch Edition is a premium, all-inclusive package crafted in limited quantities, delivered directly by our engineering team. Each pair is individually numbered and comes with high-end components, offering a ski mountaineering experience unlike anything before.

  • 173 cm freeride skis with Titanal construction, made in Austria by TECNICA GROUP SKI EXCELLENCE CENTER

Frequently Asked Questions

If I run out of battery, can I still go uphill?
Yes, absolutely. You can continue the climb fully powered by your legs. The skis will feel slightly heavier due to the integrated system, but the mechanics won’t interfere with natural movement.
How long does it take to switch from uphill to downhill configuration?
It takes about 2 minutes to remove the E-SKIMO drive units and store them in the dedicated backpack. Once done, your skis are ready for the descent. 👉 Watch the video demonstration here.
Can I travel by air with the batteries?
In most cases airlines have a restriction that does not allow our batteries to be shipped. We recommend checking with the airlines directly.
What type of ski boots are compatible?
E-SKIMO uses ATK bindings compatible with touring ski boots with tech inserts. The bindings accommodate a sole length range from 295 mm to 355 mm.
What happens in case of system failure or damage during a trip?
Every Launch Edition comes with a 2-year replacement guarantee valid for 2 years, ensuring you’re never stuck during your ski season. Our team will coordinate immediate support or replacement if needed.
How do I charge the batteries and how long does it take?
The batteries charge via a standard outlet with the included charger. A full charge typically takes around 3 hours.
Can I use the skis without the E-SKIMO system at all?
Yes — the skis are fully functional on their own and can be used like traditional touring skis. You can use the e-skimo ski without the drive system installed, if desired.
