Downhill Configuration
The correct sequence for Downhill Configuration is critical. You must follow the steps in the exact order specified to ensure the E-SKIMO is configured safely and correctly for the descent. |
The downhill configuration requires removing and storing 8 distinct components (PowerPack, Belt, Train, Skin) and installing small parts (Tip & Tail Caps).
Dropping a component (especially the small Tip/Tail Caps) into deep fresh snow may render recovery impossible.
Skiing without Tip/Tail Caps exposes the pulleys to irreparable structural damage and snow infiltration that can compromise the integrity of the ski. |
Always perform the transition on a packed surface or use your open backpack laid on the ground as a safe "work area" to place disassembled components.
