# I see some greasy material spilling from the motor (PowerTrain); is this normal?

Yes, it is perfectly normal to see some greasy material, especially when the E-SKIMO is new or after the first few uses.

- This substance is an excess amount of the protective liquid film used inside the PowerTrain, and it will naturally leak out.
- It is not a sign of a fault or malfunction.
- To clean the area, simply use a soft cloth and an alcohol-based product.
